THIS IS HOPE CHURCH

Our Story

On August 4, 1991,
Hope Church was born…

Using "An oasis of hope that refreshes our soul" as our slogan, we took our first church pioneering step. Creating a cozy, homey atmosphere, the church began to grow.

August 1996

A new warehouse close to Nishfunabashi Station becomes Hope Church's first building.

September 1999

The City Church in Seattle, U.S.A. becomes our supervising church.

December 2000

We have over 200 people attend our Christmas Celebration, and we begin the search for a bigger space.

April 2001

With the help and favor of the West Ship Service Company, we start taking steps to move into a new building.

July 1, 2001

We move into the 3rd floor of the WS Plaza and hold a special opening celebration.

November 2004

Pastor Steven publishes his first book entitled "Healthy Church," and it has become a blessing to many of its readers.

July 2011

Hope Church celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Welcome to Hope Church!
